About the role
- Design, build, and maintain ecommerce, marketplace, and ERP integrations (API, EDI, file-based)
- Improve performance, scalability, and reliability of existing integrations
- Collaborate with Product, Solutions, and Support teams to define integration requirements and deliver robust solutions
- Establish engineering-wide best practices for integration design and development
- Mentor other engineers on integration architecture, data modeling, and API/ETL workflows
- Troubleshoot and optimize high-volume catalog, order, and inventory workflows
- Contribute to evolving our internal Integration Platform tooling, connectors, and adapter strategies
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience building ecommerce integrations (APIs, webhooks, ETL, SDKs)
- Strong Java development skills
- Hands-on experience with platforms like Shopify, Amazon, BigCommerce, Magento/Adobe Commerce, and NetSuite
- English fluency at a C1 or C2 level
- Time zone alignment with EST
