About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Conduct deep research into customer segments and geographies to identify needs, pain points, and trends
  • Translate insights into actionable strategies, ensuring propositions align with market demands
  • Monitor product competitiveness and market dynamics to position solutions effectively
  • Define clear and compelling value propositions for target customer segments
  • Translate the value proposition to product requirements and specifications, in close collaboration with Product Management
  • Articulate how offerings address customer challenges, deliver value, and differentiate from competitors
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to define pricing (strategies) and commercial positioning
  • Partner with Product Marketing to create materials that communicate the value and benefits of propositions
  • Coordinate operational and sales readiness of new propositions by ensuring teams are equipped with knowledge and tools
  • Lead efforts for soft launches or pilot programs, gathering feedback to refine propositions
  • Define and track key success metrics, such as adoption rates, customer satisfaction, and revenue impact
  • Analyze proposition performance post-launch, identifying improvement opportunities
  • Manage the lifecycle of propositions, from initial ideation to retirement

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s or Master degree in a relevant field
  • Proven experience in proposition management, preferably within SaaS or a tech scale-up
  • Ability to translate customer insights into compelling, market-ready propositions
  • Expertise in defining value propositions, pricing strategies and market positioning
  • A results-driven mindset with true dedication to crafting winning propositions
  • A proven track record of collaborating with cross-functional teams, including Product, Sales, and Marketing
  • An analytical approach to evaluating market opportunities and proposition performance
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills to influence stakeholders and convey complex ideas with clarity
  • Fluency in English; additional languages such as Dutch, French, German are a plus.
