About the role
- As a Senior Software Engineer on the Tech Claims team, you will work on products used daily by our claims handlers.
- Leveraging AI and automation, these tools help: assist handlers in decision-making, automatically understand and analyze documents, and in some cases manage a claim end-to-end through to payment.
- Develop and maintain robust, scalable web applications.
- Design backend APIs in TypeScript / Node.js, exposed via GraphQL.
- Build modern, high-performance front-end interfaces with Next.js / React.
- Develop Python services for integrating LLM APIs (OpenAI or others).
- Actively contribute to the automation of claims management processes.
- Contribute to architectural decisions and ensure code quality.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of web development experience (10 years or more is a plus)
- Excellent command of TypeScript / Node.js
- Strong experience with React / Next.js
- Experience with GraphQL, MongoDB and PostgreSQL
- Good knowledge of Python, ideally in AI-related projects
- Strong interest in automation and large language models (LLMs)
- Ability to work in an international environment
- Professional-level English is required (written and spoken)
