About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Support construction management efforts in a PMO environment
  • Manage project schedules, task durations, completion progress, sequencing, lookaheads, delays, risks, and opportunities
  • Assist with construction administration, including RFIs, submittals, and change orders
  • Support procurement and ordering of electrical, lighting, and HVAC equipment
  • Review construction plans for completeness and best practices
  • Perform quality assurance checks of shop drawings and submittals
  • Conduct site visits to monitor construction and observe compliance of as-built conditions with contract drawings and specifications
  • Participate in store setup and build-out, managing temporary laborers unloading, unboxing, installing fixtures, and stocking supplies
  • Maintain vendor contact and communication as directed by the Project Manager
  • Prepare daily and weekly project status reports for Project Manager approval
  • Attend consultant and vendor meetings, record minutes, and follow up on action items
  • Facilitate project turnover documentation, recordkeeping, retention, and closeout processes
  • Represent LaserAway Brand Standards in virtual and in-person interactions

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree in Construction, Architecture, Engineering, Business, or a related field, or a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience
  • Excellent verbal, written communication, and presentation skills
  • Proficiency with Google Suite Applications, Smartsheet, Adobe Acrobat, and Microsoft Office Suite
  • General knowledge of permitting processes and construction best practices
  • Familiarity with commercial tenant-improvement construction methods and general building codes
  • Ability to perform and supervise general labor, including loading and unloading boxes and equipment and mounting miscellaneous fixtures
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical problem-solving approach
  • Ability to execute assigned duties and responsibilities without prompting
  • Ability to climb a ladder for roof access and lift boxes and equipment up to 50 lbs
  • Travel required up to 20%
