About the role
- Proactively identify and evaluate new countries and markets with strong potential for Laori
- Actively find, approach, negotiate with, and sign distribution partners who sell Laori in their local markets (importers, wholesalers, distribution houses)
- Own the entire distributor acquisition and onboarding process — from cold outreach to contract signing and market launch
- Take full ownership of new market entries and drive them forward with urgency and accountability
- Build strong, long-term partnerships with distributors and act as their main point of contact
- Work closely with the Founder, Marketing and Operations to ensure fast, effective market launches
- Continuously test, learn, iterate, and improve how we expand internationally
Requirements
- 2-5 years experience in Sales, international sales, export, or business development, ideally in FMCG, beverages, or premium food
- A strong hunter mentality: you enjoy opening doors, following up relentlessly, and turning “no response” into conversations
- Proven track record in finding and managing (international) distributors or import partners or similar experience
- A hands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves attitude — you’re comfortable building things from scratch
- High level of self-motivation, ownership, and confidence working independently and building markets from scratch
- Strong negotiation and communication skills in English (additional languages are a plus)
