About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Serve as lead internal attorney for various businesses, including contracts, commercial and other legal matters.
- Familiarity with multi-jurisdictional structures is preferred.
- Opportunity to lead other legal matters within various businesses, including those relating to HR, M&A, environmental, product liability and commercial litigation.
- Assist and manage projects initiated by the legal department and/or senior management of the Company, including taking the lead on policy revisions and corporate administrative matters; research laws, codes and regulations and provide interpretative guidance; coordinate and/or manage projects, as needed, including ensuring the timely coordination of document review with both internal and outside counsel, as well as coordination with Company’s personnel and senior management; review and monitor outside counsel’s monthly invoices and expenses.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Juris Doctorate (J.D.) from an accredited law school (or equivalent)
- 3+ years of experience
- Excellent Project Management skills
