About the role

  • Evaluation of company-wide goods flows with regard to international customs and trade compliance regulations using SAP GTS
  • Advising and supporting group companies on relevant customs and foreign trade law transactions
  • Classification of materials, including under foreign trade regulations (AWV, Dual-Use Regulation, Chemical Weapons Convention, Export Control Act)
  • Sanctions list screening (customers, suppliers, business partners)
  • Ensuring compliant customs clearance, including all special customs procedures
  • Reviewing and preparing customs-relevant documents using SAP GTS
  • Supporting the application and management of customs authorizations

Requirements

  • Completed bachelor's degree or alternatively commercial training with relevant further qualifications
  • Relevant professional experience in trade compliance / customs clearance (export)
  • Sound knowledge of SAP ERP and SAP GTS / ATLAS
  • Excellent communication skills with internal and external stakeholders (e.g., customs authorities), team player, structured and solution-oriented working style
  • Very good German and English language skills, both written and spoken.
