Identify and engage new customers in the food and liquid supplement sectors for natural preservation.
Plan and conduct customer visits, understand customer needs, and identify sales opportunities.
Present and promote technical and commercial advantages of preservation portfolio, providing scientific and regulatory information as needed.
Provide hands-on support to customers during benchtop, pilot-scale, and full-scale trials at customer facilities.
Build and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers, technical teams, and stakeholders.
Drive the identification and development of new market segments and application fields for natural preservation portfolio within the food industry.
Coordinate with internal teams (Technical, R&D, Marketing, Regulatory, Supply Chain) to support customer projects and deliver tailored solutions.
Manage and update the sales pipeline in CRM systems, document meeting reports, opportunities, and progress.
Monitor and benchmark competitive products, market trends, and regulatory developments relevant to natural preservatives in food and supplements.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree required in a science-related field (food science, chemistry, nutrition); equivalent experience may be considered.
Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in new business development or technical sales within the food ingredients, preservation, or related industry sectors.
Demonstrated expertise in business development, strategic planning, and sales execution.
Ability to build and nurture high-value relationships and navigate complex regulatory landscapes.
Hands-on technical acumen with exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
Customer-focused, proactive, collaborative, self-motivated and driven to succeed.
Willingness to travel up to 80+ percent of the time.
Territory may encompass all regions of the United States.
