About the role
- Learn the responsibilities of an engineer with exposure to process and project engineering
- Incorporate academic knowledge into hands-on work
- Develop understanding of manufacturing, production and project scheduling, quality control and safety
- Gain hands-on shop floor experience with engineers, operators and manufacturing resources
- Support process and project engineering activities on site
- Review Process & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs) including review and field verification
- Generate reports and periodic project updates
Requirements
- Completed at least Sophomore year of college
- Pursuing a Bachelor Degree in Engineering
- Classroom experience in core chemical engineering or other engineering disciplines
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word desirable
- Willingness to learn new skills
- Strong organizational and communications skills
