About the role

  • Manage LANXESS Corporation's internal relations to keep employees informed and motivated.
  • Write/generate content for internal communication channels including digital signage, Xpress magazine, integration newsletter, intranet, weekly emails and customized per-project internal channels.
  • Manage internal employee events both in person and virtual (including Town Hall Meetings, CEO Connections and Webcasts).
  • Manage Corporate Communications SAP functions from creation to payment.
  • Responsible for Site Communicator's Network and backup for Crisis Communication Management in NAFTA.
  • Lead Corporate Citizenship projects in the US, Canada and Mexico.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations or a related field.
  • 3-5 years of professional experience.
  • Exceptionally strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills with a high energy level and the ability to multi-task and meet deadlines.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in high stress environments while maintaining composure and focus.
  • Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and/or confidential information.
  • Ability to adapt and collaborate in a culturally diverse environment.
  • Able to work with multiple interruptions and maintain productivity.
  • Ability to be on-site in Pittsburgh at least 3 days per week (HYBRID).
