About the role
- Establish comprehensive maintenance system for analytical instrumentation
- Responsible for troubleshooting, calibration, and standardization of instruments
- Development and validation of new analytical methods
- Periodic evaluation of the accuracy and validity of existing tests
- Review and implementation procedures, calibrations, and preventative maintenance routines
- Source evaluation of raw materials and maintenance of raw material records
- Facilitate and monitor sample evaluations
Requirements
- Minimum of an Associate's degree, Bachelor's preferred, in Chemistry, Analytical Chemistry, or related discipline
- 2 to 5 years of experience in calibration, maintenance, and troubleshooting of analytical equipment
- 2+ years of experience with Agilent GC-FID, GC-MSD, HPLC, ICP-OES and associated software
- Demonstrated method development and validation skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
- Familiarity with SAP, LIMS, and QMS
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and work well under time pressure
- Practical skills to resolve day-to-day laboratory and production operational issues
- Effective communication skills across all departments
