About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • The Director of Project Delivery serves as a senior leader of the Project Delivery Division, providing strategic direction, operational oversight, and organizational leadership for the Division’s project execution functions.
  • Responsible for establishing and advancing scalable delivery practices, governance frameworks, resource management strategies, and performance standards that ensure consistent, high-quality execution across the organization’s federal and commercial contracts.
  • Partner closely with executive leadership, other division leaders, and business development teams to drive successful contract delivery, support organizational growth, strengthen cross-functional collaboration, and foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
  • Oversee and monitor the division’s contributions to company-wide profit and loss and leverage their division budget as an additional data point when making decisions that include additional cost considerations.
  • Ensure staff within the division integrate into Lantana’s culture and are thriving in their current roles.
  • Contribute to workforce planning initiatives and ensure we have a long-term vision for building a project delivery workforce that aligns our strategic vision.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Active Project Management Institute’s Project Management Professional (PMP®) certification with 10+ years of certification history
  • Bachelor’s degree in a health, technical, or management field (such as health informatics, public health, information systems, computer science, or business administration)
  • Expert knowledge of project management principles and practices, including experience leading large federal contracting programs with responsibility for budget, scope, schedule, and delivery performance
  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide high performing cross-functional teams
  • Excellent communication, decision-making, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Experience managing delivery organizations in a federal consulting environment
  • Extensive experience in Federal government contracting
  • Ability to make difficult performance decisions and exercise clear decision authority and ownership of outcomes.
