Builds and integrates backend services for a modern healthcare portal hosted on an Azure-native platform
Develops secure, scalable APIs; implements business logic; and optimizes data access using Azure services
Delivers high-performing, resilient services that support user-facing applications and workflows for healthcare data
Collaborates closely with front-end developers, architects, and DevOps teams while operating in a regulated environment (FedRAMP, HIPAA, FISMA)

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering, or related field
Minimum of five years of experience in backend development
Solid experience with Azure Functions and APIM
Proficiency in Azure SQL development (especially stored procedures, indexing, query and optimization)
Hands-on experience with authentication and authorization using Entra ID (Azure AD B2C)
Familiarity with event-driven and serverless architectures
Experience with CI/CD pipelines in Azure DevOps
Strong understanding of secure coding practices, data protection, and compliance frameworks (FedRAMP, HIPAA)
