Ensure quality software delivery from requirements specification through testing to production release
Design and execute test plans to ensure software products meet client requirements and run without defects
Perform manual and automated software testing, log issues discovered during testing, and collaborate with development team to resolve issues
Work with a cross-functional team to ensure agility and quality of software throughout the development lifecycle
Translate software requirements into detailed test scenarios and ensure traceability of requirements throughout the testing process
Develop, execute, and maintain automated test suites for regression test coverage across software products
Identify, document, and prioritize software defects for clear and detailed bug reports
Perform functional, regression, integration, and performance testing to ensure software runs well and meets client needs and requirements
Conduct API testing to validate data integration and verify the accuracy of information exchanged between different healthcare applications

Requirements

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related discipline
12 or more years of experience designing, developing, and executing test strategies and test plans for software, OR master’s degree and 10 years of experience
Two (2) or more years of experience developing, executing, and maintaining automated test software
Proficiency in various testing methodologies, including new-feature testing and regression testing
Experience testing back-end services and front-end user interfaces
Experience with test-automation tools and frameworks (such as JMeter, Cucumber/Gherkin, Selenium, Soap-UI, and automated RESTful API testing)
Familiarity with Agile scrum methodology and supporting tools and methods (such as Jira and Kanban)
Ability to work well under pressure on multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision
Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Level 5 clearance.
