About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Provide remote first-level support to users;
Contact the requesting user to obtain additional information if necessary and provide appropriate guidance;
Contact internal IT teams for assistance in diagnosing or resolving the user’s request, if necessary;
Contact other teams as needed that may be related to the incident, problem, or request to be handled;
Support the logging, diagnosis and resolution of issues within the scope of end-user computing and related areas;
Assist in identifying and resolving root causes of problems;
Escalate tickets to other resolving groups if the incident cannot be resolved at Level 1;
Monitor availability and performance of application systems and/or services related to servers: Application, Database, Internet/Intranet and Email;
Monitor availability and performance of Local Area Network and Wireless resources;
Report any abnormal events or situations identified to the Service Desk for proper incident logging and management;

Requirements

What you’ll need

High school diploma or technical degree in Information Technology.
CCNA certification preferred.
Knowledge of Microsoft System Center (SCOM), Zena/Zeke, Zabbix, databases, Sterling and Grafana.
Experience installing and configuring application and office software.
Basic knowledge of Networking, Linux, Windows Server 2019, information security, AWS and PowerShell is desirable.
