About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Visit customers to understand their business;
  • Record and internally forward requests, expectations and nuances identified at each stage of the sale, interacting with the appropriate internal teams and, when applicable, with the manufacturers involved;
  • Prepare and participate in the development of presentations and proposals from the perspectives of the business, the customer, the market and the company, contributing effectively to the proposed solution;
  • Perform account planning, business opportunity planning and RTC (Road Map to Close) related to key opportunities defined as strategic;
  • Plan the territory and analyze gap coverage when necessary;
  • Manage and plan commercial activity, with a weekly visit plan and analysis of market potential, considering expansion into new customers and new opportunities within existing customers;
  • Identify the stage of the customer's potential need;
  • Prepare proposals and, when necessary, request support in preparing commercial conditions, including the solution itself (interaction with pre-sales and manufacturers), specifying all necessary details about the customer's needs;
  • Monitor the solution proposed to customers in order to overcome encountered difficulties (potential objections);
  • Negotiate proposal terms and prices within decision-making limits;
  • Monitor customer satisfaction through surveys and other recording instruments;
  • Perform consultative work with customers to identify additional business opportunities;
  • Keep information related to customer opportunities updated in the systems used by the company;
  • Identify the main interlocutors in customer relationships and their formal (organizational chart) and informal (influencers) roles. In particular, map who decides the purchase.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree completed or in progress, preferably in Information and Communication Technology, Engineering, Economics or Business Administration;
  • Intermediate English preferred (reading / written comprehension);
  • Solid experience in the commercial/sales area, from prospecting to closing service sales;
  • Experience with public procurement and government sales.
