About the role

  • Serve as first touchpoint for new customers and win new business for LanguageWire
  • Work across ecosystem of technology and services to deliver high value solutions to enterprise clients
  • Manage large volume of inbound requests and cold contact new prospects up to C-Level stakeholders
  • Target and approach prospective clients, highlight value of ecosystem and convert prospects to customers
  • Based in the Paris office and report to Head of Business Development within regional teams
  • Interact with local branch colleagues and colleagues across value chain up to C-Team
  • Close inbound leads and create leads by researching prospective clients
  • Outreach and follow up prospects and new clients
  • Represent LanguageWire at commercial events/trade fairs/thought leadership occasions
  • Pipeline management and forecasting of revenues
  • Establish and develop relationships with enterprise targets
  • Create proposals, lead presentations, manage RFPs and negotiate contracts
  • Coordinate internal resources, teams and talent to win client trust and drive revenue
  • Be a strong team player, contribute ideas and feedback

Requirements

  • 3 - 7 years sales experience, preferably within the localization industry
  • Desire to learn about new technology, solutions and processes and ability to communicate benefits to clients
  • Understanding of the sales lifecycle from lead generation through business closing
  • Proven track record in achieving sales targets
  • Proven ability to be self-driven
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Consultancy toolbox: problem solving, analytical mindset, stakeholder management, presentation skills
  • Effective time management
  • Can Do Attitude, Fast learner, Ready to take challenges
  • Professional proficiency in French and English (obligatory)
  • Further languages advantageous
  • Preferred: experience in translation/content or technology industry, success in SaaS/localization sales, experience integrating platforms & systems
