About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Conduct research, preparation, and planning to ensure effective delivery of instructional materials and activities in accordance with program objectives and guidelines
Integrate Interpretation (and some translation) activities into the curriculum, with a focus on enhancing participants’ skills
Provide classroom instruction in the target language on assigned topics, aligned with program requirements and the instructor’s qualifications
Facilitate on site role play exercises and other enrichment activities to support language acquisition and practical application
Assist with administering initial and final language assessments
Assist in planning, organizing, and implementing program and training activities

Requirements

What you’ll need

Native proficiency in Chinese and a strong command of English (both spoken and written)
Experience teaching Chinese language to adult professionals
Some experience in Chinese - English translation and interpretation
Experience developing instructional materials
Good instructional, organizational, and communication skills in both Chinese and English
