About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Manage the commercial performance of allocated projects from mobilisation through to final account.
- Support strong commercial governance across assigned projects.
- Monitor cost, value, cash, margin, risk and opportunity performance across projects.
- Support CVR reviews, commercial reporting and performance meetings.
- Manage change control processes, including variations and compensation events.
- Support the preparation and assessment of estimates, quotations and change submissions.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven experience as a Quantity Surveyor or Senior Quantity Surveyor within utilities, infrastructure, civil engineering, water, or capital projects.
- Strong knowledge and practical experience of NEC contracts.
- Experience managing project cost, value, forecasting, change control and commercial reporting.
- Strong commercial and financial awareness, including risk management and cost control.
- Ability to manage contractual processes and protect commercial entitlement.
- Excellent stakeholder management skills.
- Confident communicator with the ability to influence and challenge where required.
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel.
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
