Technical Interior Designer – Capital Projects

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead interior design and renovation efforts across Landmark's operational portfolio.
- Manage projects from concept through construction administration and FF&E procurement.
- Ensure design integrity, cost efficiency, and operational continuity.
- Develop mood boards, finish concepts, and design narratives that reflect property brand positioning.
- Coordinate with General Contractors and the Project Manager.
- Produce comprehensive FF&E and finish schedules for each project.
- Prepare interior construction documents suitable for contractor bidding and construction.
- Partner closely with Project Manager and the Capital Projects team to align design deliverables with project schedules and budgets.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Interior Architecture, or related field required; NCIDQ preferred.
- 4–6 years of professional interior design experience, including renovation or capital projects.
- Portfolio demonstrating full project lifecycle experience required.
- Experience in multifamily, student housing, hospitality, or senior living strongly preferred.
- Experience working with licensed Architects of Record and permit-based workflows.
