Methodical investigation, analysis, review and documentation of business requirements, business processes, business functions, data and systems
Identify, define and create common understanding of requirements for improving processes and systems, reducing costs, enhancing sustainability, and quantifying potential business benefits
Work closely with Architecture, Project Management, Product Management and Engineering
Provide business analysis services in support of projects and business as usual
Understand and analyse business problems or opportunities
Research and analyse end-to-end flows, supporting business processes, information, technology and participants
Produce diagrams using use cases, story boarding, scenario analysis, and BPMN2.0 for as-is and to-be
Elicit project requirements via workshops, interviews, document/data analysis and other techniques
Write requirements specifications using standard templates, in clear, unambiguous English
Document project/product scope and goals using Use Cases
Prepare artifacts such as business scenarios, conceptual data models, conceptual data flows and impact assessments
Document required attributes for common governed data entities within Landmark delivery standards
Support Product Managers and collaborate with Enterprise and Solution Architects to ensure alignment
Assist in defining standards and ways of working across the business analyst community
Support development and test activities and participate in show & tells to ensure requirements are correctly implemented
Requirements
Strong experience in business analysis including identifying and defining requirements
Business process modelling & improvement
Business context modelling
Ability to make the complex simple and work independently
Confident, articulate and a great communicator with all levels of stakeholders
Superior analytical and problem-solving skills
Experienced in Business Process Modelling using industry standard techniques such as BPMN
Ability to work in both waterfall and agile projects and input on appropriate methodology
Experience of using Microsoft Office, Jira, Visio and Confluence is highly desirable
Experience of working with Architecture disciplines and assisting on increasing the Business Architecture domain is highly desirable
