About the role

  • Extended technical support for German customers across the entire German electricity portfolio
  • Perform technical clarifications as part of order and procurement processes
  • Develop complex, customer-specific technical configurations and concepts and coordinate them with customers
  • Support the sales team with comprehensive technical portfolio know-how — from pre-sales to after-sales — including preparing and delivering customer presentations
  • Clarify proposals, including analysis of large tenders, gap analyses, and creation or evaluation of device and software specifications
  • Conduct in-depth technical analyses related to technical questions
  • Support technical product management with requirements and product launches
  • Represent Landis+Gyr externally in technical matters to German customers, e.g., at trade fairs, industry events, or standards committees
  • Coordinate technical collaborations with partners
  • Create and maintain technical documentation

Requirements

  • Completed technical university degree, ideally with a focus on metering, electrical engineering, or a comparable field
  • At least five years of professional experience in a technical environment
  • Proven experience in technical sales, technical support, system engineering, or product management
  • Technical knowledge in embedded systems hardware/firmware, IoT, or communications technology
  • Knowledge of metering is an advantage
  • Independent, structured, and solution-oriented working style
  • Basic project management skills
  • Confident and professional demeanor
  • Effective collaboration with European teams and professional handling of European customers
  • Strong customer orientation combined with curiosity and openness to technological developments
  • Very good German skills and good English skills, both written and spoken
