About the role

  • Gain hands-on experience while understanding today’s fast-changing energy domain
  • Work on applications that run on an embedded constrained system
  • Build applications or elements of Java applications
  • Learn to build, deploy and test these applications in an embedded environment
  • Develop applications for the Landis+Gyr Edge Intelligence Platform
  • Collaborate with agile development teams on hardware and software/firmware components for L+G Smart Grid solutions

Requirements

  • Object Oriented Programming Concepts
  • Experience programming in Java
  • Knowledge of software engineering practices
  • Ability to learn to use data effectively to solve problems and support ideas
  • Ability to Integrate apps and test with real smart metering devices
  • Ability to understand the codebase and deliver assigned improvements
  • Education: Undergraduate students currently in their Sophomore or Junior year working on their Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or Electrical Engineering.
