About the role
- Conduct test analysis: review the requirements and design documents in order to identify the test conditions.
- Create test plans: define in detail how the test strategy will be implemented in detail.
- Derivate test cases: create test cases based on the requirements, functional specifications and designs.
- Execute and evaluate the tests: conduct tests, evaluate their results, create necessary test documentation, and provide feedback to the cross-functional development team in daily standups and/or via a bug reporting tool.
- Develop test automation: automate tests for better repeatability, and faster feedback with the support of a continuous integration toolchain.
- Ensure continuous improvement and maintenance of the test infrastructure: actively suggest improvements to continually increase the coverage and effectiveness of testing for the products and tools entrusted to the team.
- Provide technical support: provide support for application issues, primarily in the metering and registration area.
Requirements
- In-depth knowledge of embedded firmware testing, preferably in the energy or energy related sector.
- In-depth expertise in electrical engineering, with a strong focus on measurement technology and its practical applications.
- Familiarity with programming languages as C, C++, and Python is required.
- High level of motivation, commitment, and sense of responsibility.
