About the role
- PowerBI Service Administrator
- Responsible for all PowerBI premium administration activities, eg regular house-keeping, workspace management, Data Gateway, Data Flows, Capacity management, availability management.
- Responsible for safe and efficient operation of a PowerBI environment, monitoring users to maintain organizational policies, establishes the processes, policies, and guidelines to help users follow policies, tenant settings, data gateway management.
- Designing and building scalable and effective data models, and enabling and implementing the advanced analytics capabilities into reports, interactive visualization and KPI dashboards using PowerBI which helps stakeholders in decision making and helps in improving the data quality.
- Designing, developing, and maintaining ETL packages to load data from multiple data sources into datawarehouse using SSIS.
Requirements
- 3+ years experience as a PowerBI developer and administrator.
- Proven track record in developing and maintaining reports and dashboards using Power BI.
- Experience in writing complex DAX functions and queries.
- Solid skills in business engagement – gathering objectives, analyzing requirements and translating into technical design.
- Good level of interpersonal skills and the ability to successfully collaborate with team members.
- Excellent customer facing and communication skills.
- Capability to communicate with users globally.
