About the role
- Drive sales execution and target achievement within Southwest markets (North Texas, OK, NM)
- Responsible for targeted regional restaurant chains (101-500) and emerging chains (10-19+ units)
- Develop and utilize national broker to drive execution on mutually agreed targets
- New Customer Acquisition: execute against targeted operators, build relationships, set up product training (in-person preferred)
- Existing Customer Retention and Penetration: evaluate operator trade programs, motivate/train/influence Broker Chain Specialists, expand product penetration
- Collaborate with culinary managers to develop menu solutions and with Region Sales Managers for distribution alignment
- Utilize Salesforce CRM reporting and Power BI; collaborate with Analytics and data systems to analyze performance
- Sales opportunity management and communicate target updates with internal cross-functional teams
- Request and capture culinary support, plan and execute data driven pricing actions, input product forecasts
- HR activities including talent talks, individual development plans, required training
- Expense reporting through Concur
Requirements
- 4 Year College Degree or equivalent work experience
- 5 or more years Foodservice Sales experience
- Strong communication and CRM reporting proficiency (Salesforce, MS Office, written and verbal)
- Experience utilizing Salesforce CRM and Power BI for reporting and analytics
- National, or regional chain account experience (preferred)
- Sales broker management experience (preferred)
- Distributor account experience (preferred)
- Culinary and/or Operations experience (preferred)
- Experience with expense reporting through Concur
- Ability to develop and utilize national broker relationships
- Experience working with cross-functional teams (culinary, marketing, analytics)
