About the role
- The Project Controls Engineer will coordinate the design, installation and start-up of process control migrations, modifications, and new installations.
- Supporting plant construction or process equipment projects for Feed Manufacturing Operations and other business units.
- Responsible for the development of project scope and driving process control improvements.
- Communicate project status, updates, and milestones to stakeholders.
- Provide recommended methods and standard operating practices to optimize processes and meet product specifications with a major focus on automation software and processes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Feed Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, or related discipline highly preferred with a minimum of 3 years relevant working experience.
- Associates degree in Engineering, Feed Manufacturing, Industrial Technology, or related discipline with 5 plus years of relevant working experience required.
- Proven track record of project management and driving process improvements.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and cost initiatives simultaneously.
- Intermediate knowledge of MS Office applications including Teams, Projects, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, as well as Adobe/Bluebeam, and AutoCAD.
- Collaborating with and working effectively with cross-functional teams to achieve required results.
- Experience with vendor supplied process control systems/software common to the feed milling industry.
