About the role
- Execute sales data analysis and generate recurring and ad‑hoc reports based on priorities set by Sales leadership
- Develop actionable insights that support sales strategy, account performance, pipeline health, product mix optimization, and leadership decision‑making
- Translate Sales leadership requirements into clear analytical and reporting specifications
- Ensure high data quality by cleaning, validating, and preprocessing sales‑related datasets
- Build, maintain, and enhance Power BI dashboards that provide visibility into sales performance, pricing trends, customer activity, and other Sales KPIs
- Evaluate sales performance trends and identify opportunities for revenue growth, margin improvements, or customer retention
- Work directly with Sales leaders, account managers, and sales support teams to understand priorities and analytics needs
- Train Sales team members on using dashboards, reports, and data tools to support more effective decision‑making
- Monitor adoption of sales dashboards and insights and surface gaps or challenges to Sales leadership
- Serve as a primary point of support for Sales teams when troubleshooting data issues, reporting questions, or customer‑related data needs
- Respond rapidly to time‑sensitive sales data needs, including customer inquiries, pricing requests, account performance questions, or urgent leadership requests
- Deliver accurate, business‑focused analysis that supports quick decision cycles within Sales operations
- Maintain sales‑related metadata and documentation within the data catalog for accuracy and transparency
- Ensure compliance with data governance policies specific to Sales datasets, escalating issues when required
- Maintain and update nutritionist and integrator databases as they relate to Sales operations and customer needs
- Coordinate and maintain sales‑related contract and bid documents, supporting new product setup and bid processes for the sales team
- Manage ingredient contract information and ensure sales‑relevant data is current and accessible
- Support Sales leadership with data and reporting for pricing initiatives, sales forecasting, and account planning
Requirements
- 5+ years’ required experience in data analysis, contract management, or sales operations
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science or related field
- Proficiency with Power BI, Microsoft Office with emphasis with advanced skills in MS Excel
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Ability to manage and lead multiple large-scale projects and deadlines
- Knowledge of conducting market data analysis and financial modeling
