- Configure and troubleshoot industrial communication protocols including Ethernet/IP, Modbus TCP/RTU, and PROFINET.
- Diagnose and resolve network issues in the field: invalid IP configurations, DNS resolution failures, NTP sync problems, and general IT/OT network outages.
- Work alongside customer process, IT, and OT teams during deployment pilots.
- Contribute to productizing the integration process — identify what is manual and repetitive today and help engineer it away.
- Support Site Acceptance Test (SAT) completion and customer sign-off in coordination with the broader FDE team.

- Hands-on experience with PLC platforms and industrial communication protocols: Ethernet/IP, Modbus (TCP and RTU), PROFINET, or equivalent.
- Practical proficiency with Git/GitHub, Python scripting, and Linux command-line fundamentals.
- Undergraduate coursework or equivalent demonstrated knowledge in networking fundamentals: IP addressing, subnetting, VLANs, DNS, NTP, and TCP/IP stack.
- Comfortable getting hands dirty to debug data-flow problems — you understand what a network trace tells you and you know how to follow a packet.
- Portfolio of projects (academic, personal, or professional) demonstrating proficiency in networking, systems integration, debugging, or problem-solving.
- Strong cross-functional communicator — able to work across customer IT teams, plant-floor OT engineers, and internal software developers.
- Willingness to travel up to 50% to customer sites as deployment schedules require.
