About the role
- Leading a team of front-end engineers, providing technical guidance and mentorship
- Delegating tasks and ensuring timely delivery of milestones
- Facilitating daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives
- Reviewing and approving code contributions from team members
- Supporting onboarding and skills development of junior Engineers
- Acting as the primary point of contact for engineering-related decisions within the front-end team
- Refactoring and optimizing front-end code for performance and scalability
- Building responsive, user-friendly web UIs
- Collaborating with engineering and product teams on feature implementation
- Creating and enhancing data visualizations to make complex data clear and actionable
- Participating in Agile processes, including planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives
Requirements
- BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a relevant field
- 3-5 years' experience in front-end development
- Fluency in English is essential
- Proficiency in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and frameworks like React
- Experience with data visualization tools and techniques
- A drive to learn and contribute in a fast-paced environment
- Passion for solving problems through technology
