About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Coordinate governance and audit activity for the Children’s Safeguarding Assurance Partnership (CSAP)
Analyse safeguarding data and create clear, accessible insights
Support the management of safeguarding reviews
Help shape safeguarding policy and practice across Lancashire
Support inspection readiness and continuous improvement
Embed the voice and lived experience of children, young people, families, and vulnerable adults
Contribute to evidence-based practice and high-quality safeguarding services
Work collaboratively with professionals across children’s safeguarding, health, police, and local authority services

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience in safeguarding, quality assurance, audits or performance
Understanding of children’s safeguarding practice, policy and statutory duties
Ability to analyse complex information and create clear, accessible insights
Organised and self-directed approach
Ability to thrive in multi-agency settings
Commitment to person-centred, strengths-based practice
CV and supporting statement no longer than three pages
Successful candidate required to apply to the Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) for a disclosure
Must have appropriate work authorization; international sponsorship is not available
