About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Undertaking audits and quality assurance reviews of SEND services and processes.
Evaluating the quality and effectiveness of Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) practice.
Reviewing compliance with relevant legislation, regulations and statutory guidance.
Analysing qualitative and quantitative information to identify trends, strengths and improvement priorities.
Producing detailed reports
Supporting service improvement activity through clear recommendations.
Contributing to inspection readiness and external assurance activity.
Working collaboratively with partners across education, health and care.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Knowledge of SEND legislation, guidance and statutory processes.
Experience of audit, quality assurance, inspection and compliance.
Strong analytical and report-writing skills.
The ability to interpret legislation, policy and complex information accurately.
Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
Confidence in presenting findings and supporting improvement initiatives.
The ability to work independently whilst maintaining effective relationships across services.
