About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Lead the delivery of complex digital programmes including the Digital Front Door, Cloud migration, Application Rationalisation, and AI & Automation initiatives.
Manage project managers responsible for large-scale system implementation and embedding digital solutions into services.
Develop and implement programme governance frameworks and manage risks, issues, and interdependencies.
Monitor budgets and ensure delivery of outcomes to quality, time, and cost standards.
Engage stakeholders across departments and external partners to ensure successful programme delivery.
Provide strategic leadership to the Digital Delivery Team, fostering innovation and continuous improvement.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Proven experience of introducing technologies that make a difference at scale, delivering large and complex digital programmes.
Strong leadership and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to influence at all levels and overcome problems as a team.
Excellent knowledge of Programme, project and business change methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
