About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Greet current students/families, prospective students and visitors in a diplomatic manner
  • Provides direction and assistance by asking questions and gathering information
  • Manages all incoming call, email, calendars for the department
  • Provides excellent telephonic customer service
  • Takes messages and delivers to appropriate department personnel in a timely manner
  • Creates and maintains proper organization of physical and electronic student files and financial aid documents
  • Perform clerical functions, including typing, filing, mailings, etc.
  • Process cash, checks, credit and debit cards payment transactions for tuition and fees
  • Prepares daily deposits in conjunction with accounts payable standards of compliance
  • Oversees Transact cashiering as directed
  • Tracks and maintains department engagements/priorities on the department calendar
  • Updates student information such as address changes
  • Manages all requests, orders, purchases, travel and monitors office supplies as needed

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Associate Degree in Business or related field preferred
  • Previous office management experience preferred
  • Strong computer/internet skills, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint at a minimum
