About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Work with large project teams and outside subconsultants to ensure all project aspects are met and completed
  • Delegate aspects of work to the Project Technician
  • Coordinate with all other disciplines
  • Assist the Project Manager with client meetings, design team meetings, and construction administration
  • Perform duties with minimal guidance
  • Lead, communicate, coordinate, and motivate project teams
  • Contribute to a positive work environment

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture
  • 6-10+ years of experience
  • Thorough knowledge and understanding of New York State building codes
  • Strong technical design and construction document skills
  • Well-developed project design and planning skills
  • Excellent graphic presentation skills
  • CAD experience with AutoCAD and Revit
  • Microsoft Office proficiency: Word, Excel, Outlook, and MS Project
  • Registered Architect in New York State (desirable but not required)
  • Prior experience working with NYS OGS and/or other government agencies (desirable but not required)
