About the role
- Responsible for planning, monitoring, and managing an organization’s financial resources
- Ensure spending aligns with strategic goals and approved budgets
- Provide financial oversight by creating budgets and tracking expenditures
- Offer data-driven insights that support effective decision-making and cost optimization
- Produce a variety of regular and ad-hoc reports in support of project planning and control
- Work closely with all functional departments to ensure policies, procedures, and standards are adhered to
- Develop, implement, feed, reconcile, and maintain project control databases and reports
- Manage reconciliation of program controls data with financial and performance systems
- Verify accuracy of all cost information including proper coding and allocation to project budget
- Produce accounting and project cost reports, reports on deviations, under-runs and over-runs
- Prepare forecasts and cost trend reports
- Review and evaluate trends and their impact on project costs
- Monitor project costs and commitment to budget and forecasts
- Maintain change control and change order register
- Assess progress measurement and develop/update progress curves for reporting.
- Responsible for EVM during all project stages.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years of experience in Project Controlling & Supervisor Experience.
- Minimum Associate degree. Preferred Bachelor's Degree
- CAPM or EVM Certificate or equivalent (under AVANGRID approval)
- SAP Experience
