About the role

  • Lead environmental investigation and remediation projects.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships across private and public sectors.
  • Leverage existing industry connections to help grow LaBella’s environmental practice.
  • Prepare proposals, scopes of work, cost estimates, and project budgets.
  • Maintain strong relationships with regulatory agencies.
  • Manage and execute Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs).
  • Oversee field programs including sampling.
  • Support litigation and expert witness assignments as needed.
  • Mentor and guide junior engineers, geologists, and environmental scientists.

Requirements

  • B.S. in Chemical, Environmental, or related Engineering discipline.
  • New York State Professional Engineer (PE) license.
  • 15+ years of experience managing environmental investigation and remediation projects.
  • Demonstrated experience with BCP, Phase II ESAs, and remedial design.
  • Experience with E-Designation and/or NYSDEC Spills Program projects preferred.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Valid NYS or NJ driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • NJ LSRP license a plus
