About the role
- Lead environmental investigation and remediation projects.
- Build and maintain strong client relationships across private and public sectors.
- Leverage existing industry connections to help grow LaBella’s environmental practice.
- Prepare proposals, scopes of work, cost estimates, and project budgets.
- Maintain strong relationships with regulatory agencies.
- Manage and execute Phase II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs).
- Oversee field programs including sampling.
- Support litigation and expert witness assignments as needed.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers, geologists, and environmental scientists.
Requirements
- B.S. in Chemical, Environmental, or related Engineering discipline.
- New York State Professional Engineer (PE) license.
- 15+ years of experience managing environmental investigation and remediation projects.
- Demonstrated experience with BCP, Phase II ESAs, and remedial design.
- Experience with E-Designation and/or NYSDEC Spills Program projects preferred.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work both independently and within a multidisciplinary team.
- Valid NYS or NJ driver’s license with a clean driving record.
- NJ LSRP license a plus
