Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, Finance, Life Sciences, or a related field, or 11+ years of qualifying progressive experience in lieu of a Bachelor's degree
- 7+ years of progressive experience in global sourcing, procurement, supply chain management, strategic sourcing, or category management
- 3+ years of direct people leadership experience, including hiring, coaching, performance management, and employee development
- 5+ years of experience leading complex supplier negotiations and managing strategic supplier relationships across multiple categories, regions, or business functions
- 5+ years of experience developing and executing sourcing strategies delivering measurable cost savings, supplier performance improvements, risk mitigation, and business value
- 3+ years of experience working within global supply chains and managing sourcing, supplier, or procurement activities across multiple regions and international markets
- Knowledge of contract management, supplier governance, and procurement best practices
- 3+ years of executive-level verbal, written, and presentation communications experience
- Advanced expertise in strategic sourcing, category management, supplier relationship management, and complex contract negotiations
- Strong stakeholder management, influencing, and cross-functional partnership skills
- Understanding of global supply chain operations, supplier risk management, business continuity planning, and risk mitigation strategies
- Strong business and financial acumen, including business cases, data analysis, and market intelligence
- Proficiency with ERP systems, e-sourcing platforms, spend analytics tools, and contract lifecycle management solutions
- Ability to collaborate across global regions, time zones, and diverse cultural environments
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and competing business demands
