Develop and execute a global vision for integrating BioAnalytical Services into a comprehensive drug development product offering
Ensure annual quality, scientific, and client service targets are achieved
Formulate and implement plans, policies, and procedures aligned with department and corporate guidelines
Allocate personnel, space, and equipment resources to meet financial and budget expectations
Develop operational and scientific strategies supporting business objectives, sustainable growth, and innovation
Oversee development and renovation programs while ensuring company and regulatory compliance
Implement employee development programs to enhance scientific capabilities and operational excellence
Conduct performance appraisals and manage employee performance, career development, and expectations
Foster a stimulating work environment and address performance concerns
Ensure scientific objectivity, credibility, and expertise across research and operational activities
Enforce department safety programs in coordination with environmental, health, and safety teams
Enhance employee communication and support recruitment and staff retention
Provide strategic governance and leadership for global Project Management and Client Engagement functions

Direct staff delivering BioAnalytical services and ensure client satisfaction on multidisciplinary drug development projects
Collaborate cross-functionally with BioAnalytical Services, Central Laboratories, Early Development, and Drug Development teams

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor of Science degree in Chemistry, biochemistry, biology, immunology, or related field
10 or more years of supervisory and people management experience, preferably in an operational leadership role
10 or more years leading client-facing medium-to-large laboratory organizations
Full accountability for enterprise collaboration, project management governance, operational excellence, and sustained financial performance
Independent management skills and ability to implement department and company directives
Demonstrated leadership experience motivating people and delivering exceptional results
Documented accomplishments reflecting teamwork, integrity, and accountability
Ability to work in a fast-paced, growing organization and deliver quality results
Skilled in running meetings and projects
Skilled in time management, planning, and operational/process excellence
Expert-level communication skills
Skilled in project and portfolio management, change management, and building cohesive project management teams
