Producing software and documentation that will directly impact products, customers, and patients
Leading technical development projects and performing fact-finding research
Providing guidance to others to achieve goals in accordance with established policies

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Bioinformatics, Biology, Computer Science, or Software Engineering
5 or more years of experience in software engineering
5 or more years of experience with Python, PERL, R, C/C++, Java, or BASH
5 or more years of experience with Next Generation Sequencing (NSG), pipeline development or machine learning
PhD in Bioinformatics, Biology, Computer Science, or Software Engineering (preferred)
4 or more years of experience in Bioinformatics (preferred)
4 or more years of experience with Algorithm development (preferred)
4 or more years of experience with Angular, React, or JavaScript (preferred)
4 or more years of experience with Django, or RESTful APIs (preferred)
4 or more years of experience with SQL, or NoSQL (preferred)
4 or more years of experience with agile software development methodology and practices, git source control, and Atlassian tools (JIRA, Confluence, Bitbucket, Bamboo) (preferred)
