About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Independently manage end-to-end Payroll Time processes for assigned pay groups within Workday.
- Analyze time data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities for operational improvement.
- Create and maintain recurring and ad hoc reports to support business leaders, audits, compliance requirements, and workforce analysis.
- Support complex employee and manager inquiries through detailed time data analysis and issue resolution.
- Develop and execute testing scenarios, including user acceptance testing (UAT), system enhancements, and new feature releases.
- Process and validate retroactive time transactions while ensuring compliance with company policy and statutory requirements.
- Monitor payroll time controls, identify process risks and control gaps, and implement corrective actions.
- Partner with Payroll and other cross-functional teams to resolve issues and improve processes.
- Drive continuous process improvement initiatives by leveraging data insights, automation, AI tools, and reporting capabilities.
- Manage project deliverables from initiation through implementation, ensuring quality, accuracy, and timeliness.
- Support Workday Time module administration and contribute to system optimization efforts.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 5 or more years of experience in Payroll and/or Time-to-Pay
- 2 or more years of experience in payroll time regulations for Germany
- Fluency in both English and German
- Strong knowledge of payroll time systems, preferably Workday Time.
- Intermediate Excel skills required; Power BI experience preferred.
