About the role
- Conduct high risk investigations, manage employee issues to resolution, advise on ER programs and policies.
- Interface with employees, management, legal, HRBPs and external stakeholders to maintain positive employee relations and resolve workplace issues.
- Proactive approach determine training needs ensuring upskilling of leaders occurs.
- Maintains integrity/confidentiality when managing ER issues and investigating reported ER cases.
- Acts as an advocate for equitable and fair treatment – ensuring practices align with company values.
- Handles investigations including violations of Anti-Harassment, EEO, Code of Conduct, Compliance, Conditions of Employment, Workplace Violence, gross misconduct, theft, or legal violations.
- Participate in global ER projects and activities (leadership development, upskilling).
- Mentors and supports junior team members.
- Identifies opportunities for alignment and improvement globally partnering with ER experts to deliver (Investigation and Compliance lead or Learning and Development Lead).
- Analyzes ER trends and recommends actions.
- First level reviewer for terminations within area of business responsibility.
- Participates in various ER projects and activates.
- Trusted adviser to senior leaders.
Requirements
- Undergraduate degree in business, law, human resources, or related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of Employee Relations experience.
- Experience conducting investigations and advising on a wide range of sensitive and complex employee relations issues, including performance management, interpersonal manager/employee conflicts or complaints, leaves, accommodations, and behavioral conduct issues.
