About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead and execute complex User Acceptance Testing (UAT) initiatives for high-impact system implementations
- Define and document detailed business requirements in collaboration with business and IT stakeholders
- Develop and own UAT strategies, test plans, and execution for large-scale, cross-functional projects
- Perform end-to-end and integration testing to ensure solutions meet business, functional, and technical requirements
- Analyze system enhancements to assess process impact, financial implications, and technical performance
- Identify, track, and manage defects, including severity, frequency, and resolution
- Validate systems using data analysis, testing tools, and established methodologies
- Document test results, present findings, and obtain stakeholder approval
- Monitor post-production performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure system stability
- Partner closely with business analysts, developers, and leadership to resolve issues and clarify requirements
- Serve as a subject matter expert and advocate for business users throughout the testing lifecycle
- Lead release activities, status updates, and project discussions as needed
- Coordinate testing efforts across multiple analysts and projects
- Mentor and support junior team members, including reviewing test plans and strategies
- Identify risks, recommend solutions, and drive continuous improvement and standardization efforts
- Support user adoption through documentation, training, and system demonstrations
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree with 6+ years of experience in User Acceptance Testing and system validation
- Advanced knowledge of software development life cycle (Agile and Waterfall) and UAT methodologies
- Experience with defect tracking and testing tools (e.g., JIRA, HEAT, SBM)
- Proficiency in data analysis, SQL, and testing tools (e.g., Selenium, QC/ALM)
- Experience with web services and data formats (e.g., JSON, EDI X12, HL7)
- Strong understanding of Revenue Cycle Management in healthcare, including HIPAA
- Advanced knowledge of process mapping and system workflows
- Knowledge of Labcorp systems
