Key responsibilities & impact

Develops and implements strategies to scale operations for growth markets
Collaborates cross-functionally for process improvement
Leads the talent pipeline to create effective leadership succession at all levels of leadership
Works directly with the Head of Toxicology in the strategic planning and management of the laboratory network
Ensures operational excellence in the delivery of testing services
Has overall oversight and management of all support activities at the laboratory site
Ensures adequate resources, including personnel and equipment, necessary to meet quality standards
Leads the development of the site operating budget and supports planning of the capital budget development
Ensures client satisfaction with timely communications and builds cooperative relationships between the laboratory and other functional areas

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree
8 years or more experience with growing leadership responsibility in a clinical laboratory environment; experience in a laboratory performing highly complex testing as defined by the most recent CLIA rules
5 years or more experience in leadership, including managing a team, workflow optimization, capacity planning, performance metrics, and cross-function execution
