About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develops new relationships with the leaders inside of the hospital administration responsible for hospital reference operations
- Targets new hospital reference laboratory opportunities for Labcorp
- Wins new hospital reference business opportunities
- Develops relevant business plans with clearly defined strategies and objectives to deliver year-over-year revenue growth
- Directs ownership for onboarding new hospital reference laboratory business
- Responsible for new customer implementation plans from start to finish inside a matrixed organization
- Works with Labcorp division and corporate HHS leadership to expand services beyond clinical reference testing
- Communicates the Labcorp health system value proposition to our clients
Requirements
What you’ll need- BA/BS degree or higher in Health Administration, management, public health, nursing, business administration or related field
- 3 years or more healthcare business development or sales experience in hospital or medical markets
- 2 years or more experience managing complex sales, selling into C-suite or complex healthcare organizations
- Reside in one of the following states: Maryland, Virginia and District of Columbia (D.C.)
