About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Drive new business and organize an annual book of upselling business
  • Achieving long and short-term sales objectives by providing specialty solutions
  • Create effective customer relationships
  • Make in-person visits to clients on a regular basis
  • Act as a liaison between the client and Labcorp
  • Provide updates to senior leadership on key strategic initiatives and new business
  • Update all relevant customer account information into Salesforce.com
  • Cold call and build a sales pipeline
  • Collaborate closely with team members to help them retain their current book of business
  • Perform in-services, training, and implementation with pertinent personnel and physician staff

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • High School Diploma
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 4 or more years’ experience in sales or account management experience within the healthcare or medical device industry
  • Strong consultative selling and closing skills
  • Ability to understand complex scientific literature and use clinical data as a selling factor
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office including Word, PowerPoint & Excel, Salesforce.com
  • Strong communication skills; both written and verbal
  • Excellent time management and organization skills
  • Must have a valid driver's license and clean driving record
  • Ability to travel overnight as needed
