About the role

  • Billing EDI vendor liaison providing daily interaction with potential EDI trading partners
  • Conducts testing to evaluate vendor's EDI data quality
  • Identifies issues and recommends vendor improvements
  • Conducts detailed data analysis for existing vendor issues
  • Works with IT and vendor technical resources
  • Engaged with senior management to facilitate process improvements
  • Educates internal and external resources
  • Develops strategic plans and executes within timelines
  • Coordinates external and internal resources
  • Mentors and trains Billing EDI Analysts and Sr. Analysts

Requirements

  • High School diploma or GED
  • 5 or more years Healthcare Billing experience
  • 2 years or more of experience with HL7 files
  • EDI healthcare billing
  • Previous mentorship or training experience
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, and Access
