About the role
- Build collaborative relationships and serve as a trusted advisor to divisional leadership
- Provide proactive compliance guidance on clinical laboratory arrangements with healthcare providers
- Lead compliance-related diligence and integration activities for health system acquisitions
- Conduct thorough internal investigations into compliance program violations
- Collaborate with Legal and Human Resources to remediate compliance issues
- Implement compliance training programs and educational opportunities
- Monitor state and federal healthcare laws and regulations relevant to Labcorp's operations
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in a healthcare compliance-related role
- 5 years Experience with implementing the Office of Inspector General’s “seven elements” of an effective corporate compliance program
- Certified in Healthcare Compliance (CHC) and/or Certified in Healthcare Privacy Compliance (CHPC) preferred
- Knowledge of state and federal healthcare laws, regulations, and standards relevant to clinical laboratory compliance programs
