About the role
- Lead the design and development of complex synchronous and asynchronous learning experiences aligned to enterprise frameworks.
- Apply advanced instructional design methodologies (e.g., ADDIE, SAM) and adult learning principles to create highly effective and scalable learning solutions.
- Act as a subject‑matter expert in learning experience design, advising program managers and SMEs on best practices.
- Develop facilitator guides, participant materials, eLearning, videos, job aids, and other assets requiring advanced design and technical expertise.
- Leverage a range of authoring and media tools (e.g., Articulate 360, Adobe Captivate, video production tools) to create interactive, multimedia‑rich learning.
- Conduct learner/task analysis to inform solution design decisions.
- Perform quality assurance, user testing, and iterative refinement of learning assets.
- Partner with program managers, SMEs, and business partners to ensure solutions meet strategic capability needs.
- Independently lead design workstreams on large or complex projects, managing priorities, timelines, and deliverables.
- Mentor junior designers or provide design feedback as a technical expert.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Human Resources, Communications, or related field; Master’s preferred.
- 5–8+ years of instructional design or learning experience design.
- Demonstrated experience independently designing complex, multi‑modality learning solutions.
- Advanced proficiency with instructional design tools and multimedia development technologies.
- Strong project management, consultation, and communication skills.
