About the role

  • Labcorp Women's Health and Genetics, part of the LabCorp Specialty Testing Group, is seeking an experienced and motivated individual to join a team of genetic counselors to support busy maternal fetal medicine practice in Los Angeles, CA. This individual will be responsible for providing in-person and virtual comprehensive prenatal genetic counseling services and may also support our Results Reporting Programs. The schedule for this position is Monday - Friday, 8am-5pm. The Genetic Counselor will be required to work onsite in the Los Angeles/Beverly Hills area approximately 3-4 days/week and work from home 1-2 days/week. Candidates must be located in the Los Angeles area or be willing to relocate. Requirements

  • MA/MS in Human Genetics/Genetic Counseling ABGC/ABMG certification or active candidate status required Candidates with current ABGC certification highly preferred Must be able to obtain CA Genetic Counselor license prior to start date 2 years experience as a clinical genetic counselor preferred (post completion of Masters program) Previous prenatal genetic counseling experience highly preferred Highly organized, including excellent time management skills Strong multi-tasking ability with excellent attention to detail Excellent communication skills, both written and oral Strong computer skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office
